Your rocky surface
coarse and cold
Til rain descends
and green takes hold

To mold and claim
your rusty hues
Verdant now
with forest views

Flowers wild
like twinkling stars
Cracks in stone
your earthly scars

Softened stone
and bladed grass
We paved a path
and you let us pass
